Pet Requirements
Why do you think it important to only walk my dogs?
I know it is good for dogs to socialise but I’ve always wanted to know my own dogs are getting a dog walker’s full attention when on a walk.
Mixing with other dogs I always preferred to choose who they walked with. I thought others might feel the same.
I think there is room for both and that’s why I started Only Your Dogs.
So owners can feel confident that their dogs are getting the same type of walk they give them.
Where will you walk my dogs?
I am based in central Cheltenham but can travel a reasonable distance out.
We are lucky to have so much choice and if there is a walk you prefer from home I am very happy to do that.
What will you do on a home visit?
Follow your instructions really. Let them out for a ‘comfort break’ in your garden or round the block. Whichever you prefer. Feed them if that is wanted. And happily give cuddles if your dogs are cuddlers.
Do you have experience of overnight stays?
Yes. Many years of looking after friends and colleagues homes and dogs and cats. Including extremely nervous rescue dogs who I would always want to meet a few times before a booking. Important to let them get used to me and for you to feel comfortable leaving your dogs and home in my care. No charge for these visits.
Do you only walk dogs and housesitting in Cheltenham?
For dogwalking and home visits I am based in Cheltenham. For home sits I cover a wider area. Just ask.
Are you insured?
Yes I am. I have specific insurance for both.
Are you available at weekends?
I am available for walks or home visits most weekends. And probably can arrange to be free for housesitting. That will depend on how many walks I have booked. I would say book early to avoid disappointment! But feel free to call to talk about last minute bookings.
